The Creative Initiatives Foundation (Creative Initiatives) envisions a world in which individuals and groups use creative initiative and social entrepreneurship to solve significant problems and improve the ways in which they live, work and play.
Creative Initiatives exists to promote the creative initiative of individuals and groups and encourage the use of socially responsible business practices to help meet community needs.
Creative Initiatives was inspired by Po Chung, the co-founder and Chairman Emeritus of DHL International (HK) Ltd., and established by a broad cross-section of the Hong Kong business community. Our leaders represent the strength and innovation for which Hong Kong business is known.
Creative Initiatives sprang from the uncertainties and challenges of post-colonial Hong Kong and the unfamiliar surroundings of a recession bound Asia in 1997. Since its inception, Creative Initiatives has supported many government, NGO (non-governmental organisation), business, charity and community organizations in achieving higher levels of effectiveness, efficiency and innovation.
Our workshop-centered Creative Initiatives Process has inspired more than fifty organizations and hundreds of individuals to solve substantive problems creatively.
The Creative Initiatives Foundation is a registered Hong Kong charity.
