A basic Creative Initiatives Workshop is two days in length, and is usually conducted over a weekend or a Friday-Saturday. An off-site location is preferred and the dress is casual. The room should be set up horseshoe style with a screen for computer-assisted presentation, a video player, and 2-3 flip charts in front.
The facilitator helps the participants complete four tasks during the workshop. Four weeks later the facilitator will present the organisation with a digest of the workshop inputs and outputs and a list of next steps.
|1.||Establish the workshop parameters|
|3.||Information analysis and synthesis|
|1.||Define the organization's current state and paradigms|
|2.||Create the Vision and develop a desired future state|
|3.||Identify gaps and rank them by importance|
|4.||Develop creative initiatives to close the gaps|
|5.||Prepare a Digest that documents the workshop inputs, outputs and next steps|
