A basic Creative Initiatives Workshop is two days in length, and is usually conducted over a weekend or a Friday-Saturday. An off-site location is preferred and the dress is casual. The room should be set up horseshoe style with a screen for computer-assisted presentation, a video player, and 2-3 flip charts in front.
The facilitator helps the participants complete four tasks during the workshop. Four weeks later the facilitator will present the organisation with a digest of the workshop inputs and outputs and a list of next steps.
1. | Establish the workshop parameters |
2. | Information gathering |
3. | Information analysis and synthesis |
4. | Workshop preparation |
